Schluter designs a unique support and protection system to go under tiled floors, walls and protects tiled countertops. The floor and wall systems help level the surface and absorbs shock which would often cause the tile to crack.

The kitchen surface system also absorbs shock and also provides an edging for the tile so that it won't chip or crack under normal useage.

Oftentimes Schluter systems are used in wet areas like showers becasue they can be membrane sealed and are water tight.
